Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Discova's website, applications, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Discova Media Ltd. ("Discova," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

Discova is a content and experience platform organized around African stories, culture, and travel. Depending on your account type, the Service may let you: browse and read published content; publish content as a creator; and list, browse, or book properties. Not every feature described elsewhere on the site is available to every account or in every region, and features may be added, changed, or removed.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.

4. Content and conduct

You retain ownership of content you publish through the Service. By publishing, you grant Discova a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you publish, and for complying with applicable law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

• Don't publish content you don't have the right to share.
• Don't use the Service to harass, defraud, or mislead other users.
• Don't attempt to circumvent security or access controls.

5. Creator accounts

Creator accounts are subject to an additional agreement covering publishing tools, content moderation, and — once available — revenue share and payouts. Where a separate Creator Agreement conflicts with these Terms on a creator-specific matter, the Creator Agreement governs.

6. Property listings and bookings

Property listings are created by hosts using the Service and booked by other users through it. Discova facilitates the connection and, where applicable, collects a booking fee; it is not a party to the underlying stay arrangement between host and guest unless stated otherwise at the time of booking.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Discova disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Governing law

The governing law and dispute-resolution process for these Terms is under legal review and will be finalized before this document leaves draft status.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new version, and continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
